For a moment the queen was transparent for all to see
Alexander McQueen & The Corner Berlin hosted a cocktail reception to celebrate the Gallery Weekend Berlin.
Creative Director, Sarah Burton, was on hand as Alexander McQueen showcased 19 runway looks and accessories from Spring-Summer 2012. The looks were displayed alongside a selection of crafted art pieces, which revolved around the theme of skulls, a key McQueen icon.

Best Supporting Actress Nominee Jessica Chastain at the 84th Annual Academy Awards wearing an Alexander McQueen bespoke gown, designed by Creative Director Sarah Burton.
Fitted with a corset, the bustier gown is made of black silk organza and hand embroidered with gold bullion and metal thread. The embroidery is inspired by nature.
